The City of Mableton is governed by a duly authorized Mayor and six (6) Councilmembers, who together form the city’s legislative and policy-making body. As representatives of the citizens of Mableton, they are responsible for setting the city’s vision, adopting ordinances, approving the budget, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality public services.

Each elected official serves a four-year term, as outlined in the City Charter. The Mayor is compensated at an annual rate of $30,000.00, and each Councilmember receives an annual compensation of $20,000.00.
